Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Happy Spring!

It's Spring! The season of sunshine, rainfall (and other misc. weathers if you have the misfortune to live in Australia), flying pollen and hormones young love. :') I hope everyone's enjoying the new season, where ever you are.
It's also the time of exams for many of us. EEEEEEEEE they're in 2 days for me! I've banned myself from tumblr since it's the biggest distraction for me.

Today my school had a bandanna day to support CANTEEN, an organisation involved in supporting Australians living with cancer. My fund-raising year group sold bandanna's and pens in order to raise money. We also had a totem pole of teachers who had promised that they'd dye their hair if we reached a certain amount of money. Our totem poll-thing had milestones from $500 to $3000 (with our deputy principal at the top, promising to dye her hair a crazy colour if we raised that or over that amount of moolah).

We raised $3000.80 :la: I am liking how awesome my grade is atm

ANYWAY, I've currently been drawing more realistic styles due to VA class and being inspired by anatomy and actor's pictures.. I blame tumblr ahaha (I also blame it for my increased interest in clothes and photography OMG HIPSTER ▲ ▲ ▲ ▲ ▲ ▲ ▲ ▲/dies)
ANYWAY yeah, generic anime-style seems too I don't know.. "simple" to me? As you know all my pieces have lots of detail.. I'm a detail whore D: It doesn't mean I don't like it/will stop drawing it or anything, it just means I think I'll be drawing less "simple"-looking styles... I AM RAMBLING. I'm finding I do that a lot these days. I'm getting vaguer about things. And now this is me flying off a tangent! /moar rambling

So yeah, exams! I'll be having 2 long weekends! :iconohjoyplz: In which I will use responsibly to cram/study, of course. To cope with the stress I've been exercising a bit more regularly, although it feels more like procrastination at the moment.
