It was our school's 'Clean up Australia Day' today~ I look like a cooked lobster (red D: ) and it looks like I have a permanent blush. At least I didn't get fully tanned xD; But my face feels warm. e__e''

Some interesting moments of today:

Me: Do you guys need help?
Friend: Yeah, can you get that cardboard box out of that shrub over there?
Me: Sure.

I took it and was about to put it in the rubbish bag but then-

Friend: EWWWWWW!!! EWWW EWWWW EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! THERE ARE... BUG THINGS ON IT.
Me: FFFF- VIVIAN, STOP SCREAMING WTH.

I then turn the cardboard around(this was after I had folded the cardboard in half) discover 7 SLUGS CRAWLING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FLATTENED BOX.


So I picked up a stick and kind of.. flicked them into the grass. Unfortunately I think one or 2 had already fallen into the bag from when I was trying to put it in. D:

Me: Hey, a cigarette butt! I have an idea, let's count how many we pick up today!
Friend: Haha, okay. That'd be interesting.

AN HOUR OR SO LATER

Me: KYLIE, HOW MANY DID WE GET AGAIN? DDDDDDD8
Friend: IDK WE LOST COUNT AFTER 100 AND SOMETHING DDDDDDDDD8

We ended up getting somewhere definitely over 400 cigarette butts. How proud I am of Sefton. You guys should come around sometime. The main attractions are the 3 corner shops near the train station, and who can forget the Sefton Playhouse (fenced with broken beer bottles, cardboard boxes soaked in some unidentified liquids which ants love to crawl over and more! =__= )

At least we got free rulers, sharpeners, bags and bottles from Bankstown council xDD;
But they gave us water that was Best Before 11/2/09 .__.'' *drank it anyway*


Oh, and apparently people get culture shocks when they come to our school since it's like, half Asian half Lebanese (ahahaha, Asian Invasion) :'D
