Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

To hear that some of these fires were deliberately lit is just.. sickening. Police say if the arsonists are caught they'll be charged for mass murder since the death toll has reached 170-and counting- , not to mention the irreplaceable amount wildlife destroyed. (personally, I think 25 years in prison won't be enough for these people =__= ).

I'd like to take up commissions to help the relief funds, but then you guys could just donate directly to them yourself, and I'll draw something for you (: (But I have like, no way of knowing if you guys have donated or not- any ideas to how I can find out if you have?_{lolonlinereceipt?} ^^'' )

It's so great that in times of disaster and need, people are able to come together and help those experiencing tough times TAT

wahhh i just sat there watching the news and everytime there was an update~ the number of people who died in the bush fires just kept growing T.T whole families died and it was so disturbing that people where found in their cars D8 wahh. My dad told me bout how some people rang up her loved ones telling them they "wouldn't make it"

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *goes into an emotional wreak*
